Deposits, remittances and your PM ledger, reconciled.

Treso matches every insurance deposit to its ERA and every ERA to the charges in your practice management system, then shows AR by payer, location and provider. Underpayments and denials become a worklist, not a spreadsheet.

What Treso Revenue does

Matching that explains itself

Deposits match remittances by trace number and amount, or by a unique amount, payer and date window. One deposit can be split across several 835s. Unmatching posts an exact reversal and re-queues the deposit, so the audit trail stays whole.

  • Trace-number and amount matching
  • Split deposits with suggested subsets
  • Non-insurance credits set aside, not lost

Underpayments, denials and silence as a worklist

Each item carries the contract rate, the allowed amount, the remark codes and a due date set from the payer's appeal window. Assign, prioritize, attach, draft an appeal from a template, and mark it sent. Claims with no answer for too long surface on their own.

  • Kinds: underpaid, denied, no response, cash
  • Appeal letters with claim merge fields only
  • Timely-filing alerts 14 days out

Payers and contracts with versions

A profile per payer: EDI ID, timely-filing and appeal windows, portal and phone. Fee schedules are versioned: import a renewal as a draft, compare, and activate on the effective date. Remit posting always reads the active version.

Built for the systems specialty practices run on

Revenue reads charges and payments from your practice management system. Treso is designed for the EHR/PM systems dermatology, dental and ophthalmology practices actually use (ModMed, Nextech, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, Curve), with the first connections shipping through sync partners and read-only extracts.

  • Read-only to start; Treso never edits your PM
  • Clearinghouse 835s via partners
  • Analytics: denials by CARC/RARC, team productivity, patient-responsibility shifts

How it posts to the ledger

Recognizing a charge posts receivables split between insurance and patient. An 835 moves what the payer allowed to patient responsibility and posts in-tolerance shortfalls as adjustments; disputed balances stay in insurance AR until written off or paid later. Matching a deposit clears that AR to cash by location and provider. Write-offs post once, never twice.

Questions

Questions

Does Treso write back to our PM?

Not in this phase. Revenue reads from your PM and posts to Treso's ledger; an ERA-to-PM posting export is available for your billing team.

We use an outside billing company.

Give them the billing role. The worklist, appeal letters and payer scorecards are built for a billing team wherever it sits.

Which payers are supported?

Any payer that sends 835 remittances through your clearinghouse. Fee schedules are yours to import.
