Capabilities

What Treso Accounting does

Sync to the GL you already have

Connect QuickBooks Online, Xero or NetSuite. Map Treso's chart to yours (import and export the mapping as CSV), push location as department or class, and work exceptions in a queue with one-click retry.

  • Account mapping grid with suggestions
  • Location → department / class
  • Sync runs and exceptions with retry

A close checklist that remembers

Templates become each month's tasks with owners, due dates and evidence. Lock the period with a note; the lock history is kept. Export a close package with statements, GL, checklist and evidence, reconciliations and manual entries in one ZIP.

  • Templates copied into each new month
  • Owners notified, overdue tasks surfaced
  • Lock and unlock with reason; history kept

Journal entries with guardrails

Drafts are validated against the chart before they can post. Entries above your threshold wait for an approver who isn't the preparer. Corrections are reversals, never edits; recurring schedules post monthly, quarterly or annually.

  • Approval threshold per practice (default $10,000)
  • Reversing and recurring entries
  • Attachments, duplicate, discard and restore

Statements that drill to the line

Comparative P&L and balance sheet, an indirect cash flow that ties to the change in cash, a general ledger with running balances, and consolidation across entities with intercompany eliminations. Every number opens the journals behind it.

  • Prior period and prior year comparisons
  • Consolidation with intercompany accounts
  • Account reconciliations per balance-sheet account and month

How it posts to the ledger

Treso's own double-entry ledger is the source: cards, bills, deposits, payroll and payments post there first, with location, entity and provider on every line. Sync pushes those journals to your GL using your mapping. Posted journals are immutable; corrections are reversals, so Treso and your GL can always be tied out.

Questions

Questions

Does Treso replace QuickBooks?

No. Treso is the operational ledger for the practice and syncs to QuickBooks, Xero or NetSuite. Your accountant keeps working where they work.

Can my CPA have access?

Yes. The CPA console is a multi-client view with its own role; your CPA sees only the practices that invited them.

What if a mapping is wrong?

Fix the mapping and retry the exception; Treso re-pushes the affected lines. Nothing in Treso's ledger changes.

The demo opens Accounting as Alex, who works in it every day at a synthetic dermatology practice. Owner, location manager, front desk, billing, provider, controller and CPA are each one click away, and nothing in it is real.
