An operating account built for a practice.

Insurance and patient deposits land here. Cards and bills are funded from here. Sweep rules put idle cash to work, and every movement is already a journal line, so the bank feed and the books stop drifting apart.

What Treso Banking does

Accounts per entity, one view across the group

Open operating and reserve accounts per legal entity, name them, set a primary and alert thresholds. Multi-location groups get a consolidated position with history by entity, location and account.

  • Open, rename, set primary, close
  • Low-balance and large-movement alerts
  • Consolidated view for MSOs

A bank feed that already knows your books

Every line in the feed is categorized, noted and attached; unrecognised ACH debits wait in a positive-pay review queue before they clear against your approvals. Breaks between the bank and the ledger are listed, assigned and commented until resolved.

  • Categorize, note, attach; bulk actions
  • Positive-pay review for debits you didn't initiate
  • Reconciliation breaks with owners and comments

Transfers, payees and sweep rules

  • Payee verification and dual control on changes
  • Scheduled and recurring transfers with approvals

Cash forecast with payroll and bills already in it

The forecast reads scheduled bill payments, approved payroll runs and recurring transfers, then layers a best, base and worst case on top. The calendar shows what leaves when, and opens the record behind each item.

  • Scenarios with adjustable assumptions and one-off items
  • Calendar of transfers, bills and payroll
  • Statements by month: bank view vs ledger

How it posts to the ledger

Deposits post cash against the receivable they settle (insurance, patient or other); card settlements and bill payments post cash against the liability they clear. Transfers between your own accounts move cash to cash. Treso's ledger is the system of record; the feed is reconciled to it, not the other way around.

Questions

Questions

Is Treso a bank?

No. Treso is a financial technology company. Banking services are provided by partner banks; deposits are held at those banks and eligible for FDIC insurance through them, subject to their terms.

Can we keep our existing bank?

Yes. Many practices run cards and bill pay from a Treso operating account while deposits stay where they are, then move deposits once reconciliation is on.

Who can move money?

Only roles with the banking permission, within their approval limit. Payee changes are dual-controlled and every movement is audited.
