How it posts to the ledger

A payment posts cash against patient receivables, with the processing fee to expense, by location and provider. Same-day voids reverse the journal line for line. Refunds post their own entries. Settlement lands in Treso Banking, so the deposit and the ledger agree without a reconciliation step.

Questions

Does the patient need an account?

No. They verify with their date of birth and a one-time code sent to the phone or email on file.

Where does patient information live?

In an encrypted vault, separate from payments, referenced by a token. Texts and emails never contain diagnoses or protected health information.

How is Treso Pay priced?

On payment volume, not per seat. It is included in Enterprise and available as an add-on to Core and Plus.
